Things Change While Away
Away overseas everything is so much different. Everything is different and people will think nothing changes at home but it has. So much changes during time for everyone. When Xavier and Elijah go back in their memories they relive all their best times in live. It's something people like to do, go back and see something better than what they are in real time. All people do this at times. but Xavier and Elijah come back to nothing. Their auntie even changed a bunch. So much can change in such a little time.

I believe people who go to war with nothing to come bad too are not scared of death which has happened to our main characters. But they also have each other to come home too, therefore they do have something to look forward too.
ReplyDeleteAssuming by the previous comment that your characters have and still have nothing. I think that a good understanding to have, and connection to make to your characters, if they have nothing, they change and want to remember something worth thinking about. How did there Aunt change?
ReplyDeleteTheir auntie never changed much regarding her personality but she changed in other ways. she continued to gain life experience and knowledge that only come with age, she has also gotten quite old. Xavier returns home to nothing but his auntie but that doesn't make a difference. Xavier only has one leg which will not help him survive after the war, he wont be able to do anything and his auntie is now too old to take care of him. That's why even though he has her, he has nothing to live for.
